Machinists delve into the very nuts and bolts that keep our industrialized society going; every product and every production line requires precision parts produced by skilled machinists.
These workers spend their shifts taking lathes and grinders to craft parts to specification; calculating dimensions; testing finished products to check for defects; and monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
The Computer Integrated Machining program at аĿª½± prepares students to enter this field. Upon graduation, the student will know how to understand mechanical blueprints, practice basic machining skills, and use computer-aided manufacturing software to program CNC milling and turning machines.
